About

I'm a Senior Product Designer at Angstrom, where I've co-led Seven from a blank Figma file to UK launch and built its UX research function from scratch. I'm fascinated by technology, and by how and where it leads us. By day I focus on getting that right; by night it's all science fiction and dystopia (think Black Mirror, Titanium Noir by Nick Harkaway, The Power by Naomi Alderman, to name but a few) and the moments things go wrong (and now and then, right). That curiosity is why I started UIX Reimagined, where I design wacky, funny or thought-provoking features into apps people already use every day.

Of course, this fascination extends to artificial intelligence, and it's why I now use AI across all my projects; it's how I research, design, build, analyse and track my work (as well as some home projects too). I want to know what AI does well, and I'm watching closely for when it doesn't. I live in West Yorkshire with my family.
